Halloween Reminder

The St. Stephens Halloween Festivities will be on Monday, October 31.
The schedule is as follows:
8: 30a.m.-9:00a.m. – Halloween Parade
*9-11a.m. – Harvest Festival
11a.m. – 12p.m. – Lunch/Party
12p.m. – Dismissal

*   Your child will need to purchase tickets for the Halloween Harvest. Tickets are on sale for 10 tickets for $10. Place money in an envelope marked “Halloween Tickets” with your child’s name and grade. Your child’s tickets will be kept in the school office until the day of the Harvest Festival.

Kindergarten and seventh grade will be together having a lunch/party from 11a.m. – 12p.m. We will be purchasing happy meals for the students. I am asking each kindergartner and seventh grader for $5 each to cover the cost of their Happy Meal.  Put the $5 in an envelope marked Happy Meal with your child’s name and grade and send to school by Thursday, October 27.

Red Ribbon Week


Dear Parents,
The week of October21 to 28th students celebrate saying No to Drugs. This week  is known as Red Ribbon Week. The festivities for this week will include:
Monday – classroom decorating
Tuesday – free dress wearing the color of red
Wednesday – students will make a prayer chain
Thursday – Hats off to your Health ( wear a sports cap)
Team up against drugs – wear sports attire (team shirt)
Friday – Whipping drugs Away – students bring western attire to change into after Mass (bandana and cowboy hat, jeans, etc.) Students are to wear church uniform on Friday. Western wear is to be brought in the backpack not worn to school. We will be having a Pep Rally at 1:30p.m. on this day.
